By 1937, he co-owned a successful money-changing business and founded the National Commercial Bank (now Saudi National Bank) in 1953. Mr Bin Mahfouz serves several prominent boards and is currently the Chairman of SEDCO Holding, member of the boards of Methak Holding and the Albir Society, Jeddah. He also serves as the Chairman of the Albir Society’s Investment Committee. Mr. Bin Mahfouz brings over 16 years of investment experience, gained at leading global firms such as Wellington Management in Boston, Rockefeller in New York, and Crosslink in San Francisco. He holds a Master’s in Property Valuation and Law from City University London, an MSc in Financial Markets and Derivatives from London Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Clark University, USA. Mathew Eyton-Jones joined the Senwan Family Office board in 2024. He is also a member of the SEDCO Holding Board of Directors and the Audit and Risk Committee, bringing 25 years of executive leadership and institutional investing experience. He served as the CEO of the USD 5 billion CERN Pension Fund in Geneva, Switzerland from 2015 to 2021. He ranked sixth in the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute Public Investor 100 Rankings 2017 as one of the most significant and impactful public investor executives. Under his leadership, the CERN Pension Fund was awarded the Best Pension Fund Governance in Europe by Capital Finance International in 2019. Mr. Eyton-Jones is a graduate of both the Advanced Leadership Programme and the General Management Programme from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and completed the Investment Management Programme from London Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (Chartered FCSI), a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Pensions Management Institute and World Economic Forum Expert Community, a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Shahid Khan was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Senwan Family Office in 2024 and he also serves as a director on the board. He previously was the Chief Investment Officer for international investments at SEDCO Holding.   Mr Khan brings over 24 years of experience in global finance and investments across various asset classes (private and public), jurisdictions, capital structures, and sectors. He previously was Head of Real Assets at Wisayah (pension arm of Saudi Aramco Oil Company) where he managed a team responsible for global direct and indirect investments in private and public real assets and he served on the pension funds Investment Committee for over a decade including various external boards and committees across sectors and geographies for a number of portfolio companies and programmatic joint ventures.   Mr. Khan holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BSc Hons (First Class) in Investments and Risk Management from City University Bayes Business School, a CFA® Charter Holder and member of the Beta Gamma Sigma society. He has also completed the Emerging Leadership Program from London Business School.
